The Ultimate International Tournament is almost here. There has been some challenges getting thing organized with the tournament, but we are almost here. I would like to give everyone information for the day of the tournament.
We are looking at two tournaments. The first tournament will be an armoured tournament that will start at 9am. I would like to have all combatants at the location NO LATER the 8am. Between 8-8:45am we will be checking armour and weapons to make sure that all equipment is in good order, they are armoured up and the combatants are prepared.
If you are not competing in the armoured tournament, I would still like to have you there at the same time so that we know that you are there and ready for the unarmoured tournament. There will many different tournament floors so there will be a lot of martial arts exhibitions to watch while you are waiting for the tournament that you are participating in.
Now for the bad news: We have lost some armoured combatants due to other commitments. I do not know how many combatants we will for the armoured tournament. If we only have two armoured combatants we will not have an armoured tournament but will instead have demonstrations during the breaks in the unarmoured tournament. If you have other weapons that you would like to be able to do a demonstration fight then feel free to bring them. I can't, and won't, promise that you will be able to demonstrate with the demonstration weapons but if we can put it into the arena then we will.
I'm looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, and i know that we will have a good time. We will put on a good show and help to show the martial arts world that we are studying a viable martial art and that Western martial arts follows the spirit of the arts and is available for people to study.
